The 25th Northern Cardiovascular Research Group (NCRG) meeting

The 25th Northern Cardiovascular Research Group (NCRG) meeting is to be held on Thursday 20th April 2017, at the Sackville Street Building, University of Manchester, Sackville Street, Manchester M1 3BB.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Elizabeth Murphy from The National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, USA has accepted our invitation to present The Cairn Research Keynote lecture. Dr Murphy will present a one hour keynote lecture entitled “Mitochondria:  Regulators of life and death”.

The programme will consist of oral and poster presentations chosen from submitted titles/abstracts. Please note: Those who wish to present their research as an oral presentation; submission deadline is 31st January 2017. Those who wish to present their research as a poster presentation; submission deadline is 28th February 2017.

Following the meeting, there will be a subsidised meal at Swadesh Indian restaurant, Portland Street. The restaurant is located approximately 0.5 miles from both Oxford Road and Piccadilly train stations. Attendance at the meal will require a non-refundable deposit of £10.

Due to space limitations in the lecture theatre, we are limited to a maximum number of 130 attendees therefore if you register and are then unable to make the meeting please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your place to another person. Registration will therefore be on a first come first served basis.
