The choice of fixed stage upright microscope  requires careful consideration as there are greater fundamental differences between the competing manufacturers' products than with inverted scopes.  For example the stage will often need to be purchased from a third-party manufacturer, and the physical design of the objective lens and changer will affect the ease of use of manipulators.  We would usually set up a system based on a Nikon FN1; alternatively we can add components to any existing rig.  Please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.
