1) Select the RS-232 Illumination from the list of available hardware

2a) In the RS-232 Illumination Setting dialog, set the # of Shutter Components to zero, the # of Filter Components to 1, and ensure the Line Terminator value is set to none.

2b) In the Connection Setting tab, select the com port that the ThorLabs Filter wheel is installed on, in this case it is COM 3, and set the other values as shown below.

3a) Set the number of filters to 6, the Pre Command String to pos= , and the Post Command String to #013, as show below.

 3b) In the Param Group #2 tab, set the startup position of the filter wheel,, and set the Command Delay (msec) to 1250.
