Ratio
A semi-discrete design using precision matched components has been adopted to obtain the best possible performance (approximately 0.1% accuracy). The module also has a variable low-pass filter on the output, with a choice of filter slopes.

Features
This module provides either a linear or a logarithmic ratio of any two signals for fluorescence or absorbance measurements respectively. It takes its input from the internal back plane, using signals output from preceding modules. Internal configuration of the module, using jumper links, allows any signals on the back plane to be setup for use either as the numerator or denominator in the ratio calculation. The final selection of the two signals used in the ratio calculation is made using the edge selector switches on the front panel. The calculated ratio is output to both the back plane and the front panel BNC. A relative level control is provided to allow the the output voltage for a unity ratio to varied over a useable range of at least 0.1V to 10V, with a central calibration of 1V. For testing or single-wavelength purposes a 1V reference signal is also provided.
