Optospin IV
Cairn Research has a long history of providing fast spinning and stepping filter wheels. The latest incarnation, the OptoSpin IV, is set to be the best yet.
Filter sliders
We offer a range of sliders and drop in holders for excitation, emission and neutral density filters, and also for apertures, polarisers, lenses and other optics.
Control Rack

Output Demultiplexer
This module is designed to demultiplex the composite signal received from the primary signal amplifier and provide the separate signals on up to eight channels.
Photomultiplier Amplifier
Electronically identical to the input amplifier; this module has additional front panel controls allowing imposition of a variable offset, or filtering frequency onto the signal from any given photomultiplier.
Photomultiplier PSU
A DC to DC converter module uses the main system power supply to derive a stabilised high-voltage output for powering a photomultiplier.
Probe Illumination
This module provides independently variable drive currents for up to four light emitting diodes intended for use with our fibre optic probe illumination system.
Ratio
This module provides either a linear or a logarithmic ratio of any two signals on the analogue data bus, or from an internal DC reference for calibration purposes.
